Lorena Yalpi

Veterinary Nurse

Lorena started training as a veterinary nurse in 2022 and graduated in 2023. She has a diverse range of interests and is also studying IT and cybersecurity.

She loves cats and has three of her own. She loves manga and recently visited Korea and Japan.

Jodie Ince

Veterinary Nurse – Student

Jodie is one of our newer team members, who is currently enrolled in the Greencross Nurse Internship Program. She is having a self-proclaimed ‘midlife crisis’ and has shifted careers after twenty years in the Creative Arts and Music industries.

Jodie’s passions are animals, music, gigs, festivals, yoga, surfing, cycling, reading, films and spending time being silly with her son and husband.

Rebekah Hemsworth

Veterinary Nurse

Rebekah is from Belfast, Ireland and started working as a veterinary nurse in 2012. She moved to Sydney in 2022 and has been with Greencross for over a year. She has a dog called Kovu and a cat called Rajah.

She plays Gaelic football and loves all things Taylor Swift!

Honor Hardwick

Veterinary Nurse

Honor has been a veterinary nurse since 2018 and has worked at Greencross Vets since 2022.

She loves lifting at the gym and lifting up her fat cat Percy. She’s also training to be a paramedic! Her favourite parts of nursing are anaesthetics and hospital care but you will also find her helping out with any emergency cases.

Karl Bittel

Veterinarian

Karl recently landed on Australian shores and has worked with Greencross since October this year. Karl completed a Bachelor of Animal Science from University College Dublin in 2014. He then moved to Budapest, Hungary to complete a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Medicine, graduating in early 2019.

Since graduating, he has worked in London ensuring all his four-legged patients were given the best possible care. Karl has a keen interest in surgery and one day hopes to be certified as an orthopaedic surgeon.

Karl loves all things sport. He also loves the great outdoors and has recently completed a year-long camping trip around Europe with his partner and Maine Coon cat in tow.

Helen Easton

Veterinary Director

Helen Easton graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017 then moved to Australia in 2019. After a few years of locum work around the country she chose Sydney as her favourite city and joined Greencross in 2022. Helen stepped up into the veterinary director role halfway through 2023 and is looking forward to developing the clinic to provide the best care for local pets.

When she’s not at work she enjoys playing tennis, going to the beach, baking cakes and walks with her dog.

She is looking forward to meeting you and your furry family!

Laura Anderson

Veterinary Nurse/ Practice Manager

Laura is originally from Scotland but have proudly called Australia home for the past eight years. Since she can remember, she has always had a passion for animals so the decision to make a career out of it was an easy one.

When Laura is not in the clinic, you will usually find her at the beach or the boxing gym where she is always the star or the class, or tries to be she can also be found with her gorgeous puppy Mylo.
